Town Hall on Berkeley County Sales Tax increase - February 20

The Berkeley County Republican Club will hold a Town Hall on a proposed 1% sales tax increase for Berkeley County on February 20 at 6:30 pm at the Bedington Ruritan Club, 3947 Williamsport Pike, Martinsburg. All are welcome.

WV State of the State Address kicks off Legislative Session

West Virginia legislators will kick off the 2025 legislative session with Governor Morrisey’s state of the state address on February 12 at 6:30 pm. Berkeley County Budget Discussions in Progress

The Berkeley County Commission has initiated its FY 2026 budget process. Currently, Commissioners are hearing from county departments and agencies, as well as civic organization that are making budget requests. Citizens can watch the budget discussions by attending Commission meetings held on Thursday mornings in Room 201, 400 W. Stephen Street, Martinsburg, or watch them online on YouTube. New WV Election Integrity Group Becomes Active

Founded in late 2023, Citizens for West Virginia Election Integrity (C4WVEI) aims to ensure that every vote is legally cast, accurately recorded, and transparently audited. To this end, it is actively working with the Secretary of State (SOS), the Legislature, county election officials, and other WV citizen groups to improve election integrity. Currently, West Virginia ranks 31st in the nation, according to the Heritage Foundation scorecard.

Berkeley County Republican Club

A group of involved Berkeley County, WV residents who participate in the political education of members to broaden their understanding of Republican principles, ideals, and the Republican Party Platform. 

Berkeley County Republican Executive Committee

BCREC was established by WV Code for the purpose of carrying out the duties of Executive Committee, electing Republicans to public office, to advance the principles and interests of the Republican Party and encourage loyalty to the principles of the Republican Party at all levels of government.

Gateway Republican Women

Gateway Republican is an affiliate of the West Virginia Federation of Republican Women (WVFRW) and with the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) and became affiliated in 2005. Gateway covers the counties of Jefferson, Berkeley and Morgan counties of West Virginia.
