Wayne Clark – Candidate for Delegate – District 99

My name is Wayne Clark, and I am running for Re-Election for the House of Delegates for the 99^th District in Jefferson County. I moved here to WV in 2003 with my Wife Wendy Clark and fell in love with Charles Town, WV. I have 3 daughters Casey 30, who has my Granddaughters Ava 7 and Ari 4 and Meghan and Mattie our 17-year-old twins who attend Washington High School.

I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. Got an associate in arts degree from Baltimore Community College in 1994. I am the current Owner / General Manager of Locust Hill Golf Course, which I purchased in 2014. My Wife is the Assistant Principle at the Eastern Panhandle Preparatory Academy and has been there since the school has opened. I am the Lead Coach of the largest Frist Tee chapter in the state with over 400 kids annually participating at some level. Our family is ingrained in the community, and we are always ready to help.

I am currently the Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Economic Development and Tourism and continue to work on improving this throughout our state. I voted for the largest tax deduction in the State’s history. I have been a steadfast supporter of school choice in the state. I have vowed to protect our children from online predators in the state. I have sponsored, co-sponsored and worked to pass the most conservative policies in our state. I have a 100% approval and endorsement from WV for Life. If re-elected, I will continue to support these initiatives in our state.

My first elected office that I held was in 2011-2015 when I was elected to serve on the City Council of Charles Town. I then was first elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates in 2020.

I will continue to build relationships with other Delegates and Leaders in the State to help Jefferson County continue to be the leader in growth and development throughout the state. I will continue to work on education reform to improve our overall educational system in the state. I will continue to build on the economic growth the state has had and will continue to bring new jobs to Jefferson County and the State of WV .
