Bill Norris – Candidate for Berkeley County Magistrate
Education
William “Bill” Norris graduated from Career Academy, Georgetown School of Fine Arts, in Washington DC in Radio & TV Broadcasting. A life-long resident of Berkeley County, Mr. Norris was inducted into the Musselman High School Hall of Fame.
Career
Mr. Norris is currently serving his second term as a Berkeley County Magistrate and was recently reappointed for a second year as Chief Magistrate. He is seeking re-election for a third term as a Berkeley County Magistrate.
Mr. Norris has served the citizens for Berkeley County for over seven years as a magistrate with fairness and integrity. It is my desire to continue to make the safety and welfare of our resident a priority in administering the law.
Community
Mr. Norris is a past Vice President of the Berkeley County School Board, which he has served on for over 13 years. He is a past committee and board member of the Berkeley County Business Partnership, Berkeley County Senior Services, the NAACP, Hospice of the Eastern Panhandle and WVU Extension Services. Mr. Norris is also a lifetime member of the West Virginia P.T.A. and Ex-Officio member of the Dr. Martin Luther King Scholarship Committee. He is also a past member of the P.A.S.S. program, in which he has served for twenty-five years as a mentor to our students in Berkeley County.
Personal
Mr. Norris is the owner of Mr. Extravaganza Enterprises LLC, a marketing and promotions company. He is a member and Deacon of Destiny Baptist Church, and is married to Charlotte, and has two adult daughters, Tara and Onita, and two grandchildren, Amani and Amari.
