Career
Licensed real estate broker and appraiser 1976-1986.
Appointed Berkeley County Deputy Assessor 1986. Assessor positions held: Residential Assessor 1986-1996; Commercial Appraiser 1996-2006; Market Analyst/ Tax Consultant 2006-2012.

Elected Berkeley County Assessor 2012.
Accomplishments: Maintained all state tax department monitoring standards every year since elected. Added new website with assessments, mapping, and online filing. Hired a full time employee and with support of other county departments. We are now monitoring unregistered vehicles with out-of-state tags. Recognized by the International Association of Assessing Officers in Residential/ Commercial Appraisals and Assessment Administration. Certified by State Tax Department in all standard assessment practices. Open door policy. Fair assessments for all.

It would be an honor to continue serving  the residents of Berkeley County.
