Many candidates running for state and local offices will start door-knocking come September. A bunch of them atteded the Berkeley County Republican Club’s August meeting: Chris Anders (WV House – District 97), Lisa White (WV House – District 96), Chuck Horst (WV House – District 95), Larry Kump (WV House – District 94), Mike Hite (WV House – District 93), and Tom Willis campaign manager Carl Boertjens (WV Senate – District 15).

Also present was Nate Cain and his wife Melodee. Mr. Cain lost his race for the U.S. House in a hard-fought primary but has started his own podcast now, “The Raising Cain Show” on the Patriots Prayer Network where he often has in depth conversations with WV politicians and other public figures.
