WV voters will now be required to present a photo ID in order to vote. Valid documents include:

• WV driver’s license or DMV-issued ID card.
• Driver’s license issued by a state other than the State of West Virginia.
• United States passport or passport card.
• Military ID with photo issued by the US government.
• Employee ID with photo issued by the US Government, the State of West Virginia, or subdivision of the state of West Virginia.
• Student ID with photo issued by an institution of higher education in West Virginia or a West Virginia high school.
• Voter registration card with photo issued by the state of WV or a WV county clerk.

Voters without a valid ID can cast a provisional ballot after affirming their identity.
