Joe Kinser – Candidate for Prosecuting Attorney

I am a life-long West Virginian and have resided in Berkeley County for over a decade. I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Marshall University and I am a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law.

My entire career has been devoted to public service and I have served the citizens of Berkeley County as an Assistant Prosecutor for the last nine years. During that time I have investigated and prosecuted the biggest cases in the County and I have earned the title of Senior Assistant Prosecuting Attorney.

As your next Prosecuting Attorney I can promise a seamless transition. I have been an important part of building and shaping the office over the last several years and I intend to carry our success forward into my administration. I am trusted and supported by law enforcement, prosecutors, victim’s advocate organizations and child advocacy organizations.
